A small team in Hamburg. We find good used BMW engines, test them by hand and send them to your door. Simple words, fair prices, real photos.

Our story

We check every motor first

Bavarian Motors lives in Hamburg, Germany. Our job is simple. We find a good BMW engine, we test it, we take photos and we pack it well.

People come to us when their car engine breaks, or when a garage needs the right motor fast. The photos you see are of the real engine you get. No stock pictures.

We have petrol and diesel motors. Small ones for a 320d, bigger ones for a 530d or an X5, and strong M engines too.

Replacement engines

Full engines to get your car back on the road. We check the code, year and gearbox with your VIN first.

Performance engines

Strong S and M engines for special cars. Most cost more than €3,000.

Search by your car, like 330d, or by the engine code, like M57. Both find the same motors.

Gearboxes and drivetrain

Gearboxes, turbos and other parts. Often you need more than the engine, so we have those too.

Our test

How we test a motor

A clean look is not enough. We check the power in each cylinder. We check the oil and look for metal bits. Only good motors go on the site.

What you see in the photos is what you get. If a part is missing, you will see that in the photos too.

We write the test result down with your order. So if you ask later, we have the answer.

A garage needs the right engine, a clear price and a safe pallet. We answer all fit questions before you pay.

Car builders

Looking for an S54, S58 or N63? Search by code or by car. Our top motors get the same test as all the others.

Car owners

Just send us your VIN. We check that the motor fits your car. If it does not fit, we tell you.

Shipping

From Hamburg to your door

Engines are heavy. We strap each one to a strong pallet. Tell us who can lift it off the truck, and we plan the day with you.

Shipping to your door is 299,00 €. You get up to 12 months warranty from the day it arrives. Just let a good garage fit it with fresh oil, coolant and filters.
